Corina Chao has been a Research Associate within the Delivery Systems and Payment Reform focal area at the Institute for Health Policy and Practice since 2019. Before joining UNH, she worked as a Community Health Advisor with Peace Corps Madagascar where she worked on initiatives like nutrition during pregnancy and vaccinations while running a girl’s club in her village. Her interests include social determinants of health, health inequity, mental health, and trauma-informed care. She works mainly with the NH Pediatric Improvement Partnership to address issues like adverse childhood experiences, screening, and mental health in children.
